We have been pleased to deliver the following learning sessions to our network this year:

Managing Remote Workers
We had great feedback from the line managers who attended this recent webinar, presented by our associate, Laura Powrie. It was very much a learning session for a brave new way of working, and we hope to deliver, in response to demand, some follow on webinars later in the year.

Annual Leave & Holiday Pay
Our associate, Benjamin Carter MSc FCIPP MCMI, delivered two courses to a range of professionals (mostly working in finance, payroll or HR) on the somewhat convoluted topic of annual leave entitlement and its distant and distinct relative, holiday pay. Ben committed to helping simplify the rules and presenting some calculation formulas to help ease the complexity. It certainly seems from the feedback that these were mostly interactive sessions with a good level of participation and learning.

New & Developing Line Managers
These two online courses, delivered by our partner contact, Rachel McClean from Acas, have been repeated twice now (due to demand) and have been a significant help to both new and established ‘people managers’ who are keen to stay on top of current employment best practice and statutory rules. The delegates – line managers of clients within our HR Managed Services – have been fully engaged in the 3hr sessions which cover topics ranging from ‘managing absence’ to ‘leading and motivating your team’. We have commissioned Rachel to design additional bespoke courses, and can offer this facility to any client in the Ink universe.
